I recenlt formed SouthTunnel LLC. Geared towards small to mid-sized businesses, we provide web development for a variety of purposes including Websites, internal needs, portal based needs and SaaS tools. We implement technologies such as ASP.NET, SQL Server, DHTML, AJAX, Flash, Actionscript and much more.

We made another trip to Ecuador at the end of last year. While there we visited Salinas, located along the coast, and Cuenca, Ecuador's third largest city, beautifully nestled in the Andes mountains. Click here to view some photos or our trip.

UVEST Central
This ground-breaking tool combines the benefits of an integrated management and client servicing system with innovative marketing, contact management, and tracking capabilities for both existing and prospective  clients. Built in three layers UVEST Central begins with a complex SQL Server backend.  The interface is entirely developed in Flash and ActionScript providing an enhanced user experience that is rich and very quick.  Flash communicates with SQL through Flash Remoting and .NET.  In addition the application applies many exterior tools as well including SQL Reporting, ASP.NET online account forms, and a complex imaging system. I am proud to announce that UVESTCentral has received the 2006 Blue Diamond Award for Best IT Innovation.

Dog Wood Cafe and Catering
Located within Latta Arcade, in the heart of Uptown Charlotte, Dogwood Cafe is a unique Charlottean cafe and catering service. Technologies implemented include ASP.NET, C#, cascading style sheets, and advanced XML for portable data storage.

MP3 Players and Photo Albums
The following example is an advanced media center.  The interface is developed in Flash 8 and ActionScript 2.0.  It has a.NET backend that recurses through a specified folder on the owners computer, finding all images and mp3s, and organizing them into a convienent library for users to view and listen.

Photo Viewer
Showcases my photos, including trips, my wedding, concerts, and much more. Developed in ASP.NET, the site recurses through my pc and displays all of my photos.

Media Center
Developed with a full flash interface and C#.NET backend, this media player recurses through my pc and displays all of my photos, as well as music (bass lines, previous bands, etc.) that I have played over the years.

MP3 Player
The same as the Media Center, but this one recurses through all of my MP3s and streams them over the net. Sorry... due to legal issues I had to password protect this one. Password hint: What is my dog's name?
